ICE Agent in Minneapolis Shooting Previously Survived Traumatic Dragging Incident
The ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Nicole Good last week in Minneapolis has a history of surviving a dangerous encounter that left him seriously injured. New reports reveal that Jonathan Ross, the officer caught on camera firing at Good as she attempted to flee on January 7, was previously dragged more than 100 yards by a suspect during a 2025 operation.
According to court documents and media reports, the earlier incident occurred on June 17, 2025, in Bloomington, Minnesota. Ross and his ICE team had stopped Roberto Carlos Munoz, a suspect with multiple charges, but the situation quickly escalated. When Munoz refused to exit his vehicle, Ross broke the driver-side rear window to reach the door. Munoz then sped away with Ross’s arm caught between the car frame and the seat, dragging the officer as he swerved to escape.
