Zuckerberg used social media to remind users of a growing Messenger feature that’s designed to protect private conversations. His post was playful, but the message behind it couldn’t have been clearer:
If you screenshot a disappearing message, the other person will know instantly.
No more silent captures. No more unnoticed grabs of chats meant to vanish.
Messenger will now automatically send a notification to every participant the moment a screenshot or screen recording occurs inside a disappearing message thread.
