He even brought Habitat for Humanity to our county, dedicating hours to repairing homes for those in need.
For years, Dad and Mom drove from Indiana to New Windsor, Maryland, to work with Heifer Project International, alongside other charitable causes. Dad was always ready to lend a hand.
A skilled handyman, Dad was often found in his shop, fixing whatever was broken, never turning down a chance to help.
I could write a whole book about how Dad was a role model, but I believe you can understand the kind of person he was from what I’ve shared here.
