Dani and Nathan’s love story began in high school, and it felt like destiny when they married a few years later. But just two years into their marriage, Nathan started to change. Despite being a loving father, he became increasingly critical of Dani.
He made hurtful comments about her appearance, telling her she’d “let herself go” and needed to improve her looks. He also questioned her parenting, even though she balanced working from home and caring for their daughter, Ellie.
