Single mom Suzana had spent months saving every penny to make this Christmas special for her sons, Ethan and Jake. After weeks of anticipation, they finally had the perfect tree—a seven-foot fir covered in memories, each ornament telling a story. But just before Christmas, their cruel landlord, Mr. Bryant, showed up and stole their tree, declaring it a fire hazard.
“Mom, you promised we’d keep it until New Year’s!” Ethan cried, while Jake clung to her leg, confused and heartbroken.
As the workers took their tree, Suzana promised them she would fix it. The next day, she saw the tree—decorated with their ornaments—on Mr. Bryant’s lawn with a sign that read, “Merry Christmas from the Bryants!”
Furious but determined, Suzana and her best friend, Jessie, hatched a plan. At midnight, they snuck onto Mr. Bryant’s property, removed the boys’ ornaments, and added a bold message: PROPERTY OF SUZANA, ETHAN & JAKE, along with some glitter for extra sparkle.
