Richard arrived at his daughter’s house to celebrate his 80th birthday, but when she opened the door, Deidre was in tears and quickly sent him away. Worried, Richard peeked through the window and saw two rough-looking men inside with her.
One of them threatened her over missed loan payments. Terrified but determined to help, Richard followed the men to a bar and confronted their boss, Mr. Marco.
Deidre had borrowed $80,000, and Richard offered his savings to cover part of the debt, but Mr. Marco demanded more. To protect his daughter, Richard agreed to smuggle a car across the border for the gang.
However, the plan went wrong when a police dog alerted officers at a gas station, leading to a high-speed chase that ended with Richard’s car sinking into a river.
