Police Now Consider Possible Kidnapping
New information has intensified concerns. Speaking with People Magazine, Sheriff Nanos revealed that investigators now believe Nancy may have been taken from her home against her will.
“At this point, we believe a crime has been committed,” Nanos said. “She went to bed Saturday night, and by Sunday morning, she was gone. Given her limited mobility, it’s highly unlikely she left the house on her own. We are looking into possible kidnapping or abduction.”
Authorities are reviewing home security footage in the area and have collected biological evidence as part of the investigation. Nanos emphasized Nancy’s sharpness and awareness, which makes the situation even more alarming.
