Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is facing criticism after making controversial remarks about Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, during a recent podcast appearance.
Speaking on the “I’ve Had It” podcast, Psaki made light-hearted but pointed comments about the Vice President, referring to him as a “little Manchurian candidate” and suggesting he was overly ambitious. She also described him as “a chameleon with no charm,” sparking debate over whether her tone crossed a line.
Her comments took a more personal turn when she joked about Vance’s wife, saying, “Blink four times. Come over here, we’ll save you.” The remark quickly spread across social media, where many users called it disrespectful and inappropriate.
Vice President Vance responded by calling the remarks “disgraceful,” but took the opportunity to praise his wife, referring to her as his “wonderful partner” and thanking supporters for their messages.
