Sally Field, 76, battled ageism in Hollywood her entire career and never had plastic surgery.

Wearing a stunning black gown and showcasing her natural gray hair, Field radiated grace and beauty.

“Acting has been my passion for nearly 60 years, and every day brings me joy,” she shared.

In a 2016 NPR interview, Field talked about her role as Doris Miller, a quirky older character, and her thoughts on aging.

“Being 70 is just fine,” she said. “I’ve grown stronger with age, and I embrace who I am. I might not like every change, but it’s all part of the journey.”

Field has also discussed the topic of aging naturally in past interviews, including a 2009 conversation with Good Housekeeping.

“I used to wish my neck looked different on TV,” she admitted. “But now, I see women who’ve had surgery and think it’s a shame. We should embrace who we are at every stage of life.”
