The confirmation vote, which ended in a 52-46 margin, reflected a divided but significant approval. Senator Jacky Rosen of Nevada, a Democrat, broke party lines to vote in favor of Loeffler’s appointment, joining 51 Republican senators. Meanwhile, two Republican senators—Jerry Moran of Kansas and Dan Sullivan of Alaska—did not cast votes, though their absence did not change the outcome.
