Simone Biles, a four-time Olympic gold medalist, made a triumphant return at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, clinching gold in the women’s gymnastics final.
Despite suffering a calf injury during the preliminaries, Biles showcased her incredible skills, cementing her legacy as the greatest gymnast of all time with a total of eight Olympic medals and 30 World Championship titles.
Biles had previously withdrawn from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to mental health challenges, including experiencing the “twisties,” a condition that affects spatial awareness.
Her courageous decision to prioritize her mental well-being was widely applauded, leading her to take time off to focus on her personal life, including marrying NFL player Jonathan Owens in 2023.
