Snowy Runway Tragedy: Plane Crash in Maine Leaves Six Dead.

What should have been a routine takeoff turned into a heartbreaking disaster in a matter of moments. A private jet linked to a Houston-based law firm crashed while attempting to depart Bangor International Airport, killing all six people on board.

The aircraft, a Bombardier Challenger 600, was trying to lift off during severe winter weather caused by Winter Storm Fern. Snow and ice coated the runway, and air traffic control recordings reveal mounting concern as the jet struggled to gain control before overturning and erupting in flames. Despite a rapid emergency response, there were no survivors.

The tragedy has sent shockwaves far beyond Maine. Among the victims was Tara Arnold, a respected attorney and the wife of a co-founder of the Houston law firm associated with the flight. She was widely admired for her professionalism, compassion, and dedication to both her career and her family.
