Authorities in Dougherty County, Georgia, are investigating a serious ambulance rollover crash that left nine people injured — including a newborn baby — early Saturday morning. The collision, which involved three vehicles, occurred around 7 a.m. at the busy intersection of Pine Avenue and Monroe Street in Albany.

Witnesses described a chaotic scene, with sirens wailing, debris scattered across the roadway, and first responders immediately rushing to help their own. “It was surreal,” one bystander said. “The people who usually save lives suddenly needed saving themselves.”
