He complimented my tattoos, saying, “I bet people look at you funny too because you’re a little different.” I laughed and agreed, sharing how I don’t let it bother me.
Hank mentioned leaving work early because his feet hurt and was excited to spend the rest of his day at the beach. He even showed me a picture of his wiener dog, Frank.
Our little chat was heartwarming, even if it repeated a few times. Hank reminded me that kindness costs nothing, and treating everyone with respect—regardless of their differences—can make a world of difference.
