What began as a routine, court-ordered custody visit ended in an unthinkable tragedy.
On May 30, 2025, sisters Paityn Decker (9), Evelyn Decker (8), and Olivia Decker (5) left their home in Wenatchee, Washington, for a scheduled visitation with their father, Travis Decker. He was expected to return the girls by 8 p.m. that evening. He never did.
When the children failed to come home and Travis stopped responding to calls, their mother, Whitney Decker, contacted authorities. The girls were reported missing the following day, triggering an urgent and expanding search across central Washington.
Grim Discovery
On June 2, a hiker discovered Travis Decker’s abandoned 2017 white GMC pickup near Rock Island Campground in Chelan County. Inside the vehicle were Decker’s wallet, cellphone, and personal belongings. Nearby, investigators made a devastating discovery: the bodies of the three girls.
