Trump Clashes With Reporter Over Sensitive Epstein Question

Donald Trump’s name appears more times in the recently released Jeffrey Epstein files than Harry Potter does across all seven books — a fact that highlights both the scope of his mentions and the sensitivity of the topic for the former president.

That sensitivity became strikingly evident on Tuesday during a tense Oval Office press briefing, when CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins asked Trump about Epstein’s survivors.

“Look, CNN is thrilled… She never smiles. Someday I’ll see her smile,” Trump said, opening the exchange with a personal jab before Collins could even finish her question.

Collins had asked a straightforward question: “What would you say to the survivors…”

Trump, visibly irritated, interrupted her almost immediately:

“You are the worst reporter. No wonder CNN… CNN has no ratings because of people like you. You know she’s a young woman. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile. I’ve known you for 10 years, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smile on your face.”

Collins responded calmly, insisting: “Well, I’m asking you about survivors.”
