Trump Speaks Out as Tensions Rise Between U.S. and Iran

Tensions Soar as U.S. and Israel Launch Airstrikes on Iran—Trump Responds

Trump addressed the strikes in a Truth Social video, stating: “It’s a very simple message. They will never have a nuclear weapon. Tehran had refused to dismantle its nuclear capabilities, prompting the U.S. to increase its military presence across the Middle East. Israeli officials confirmed the strikes targeted both Khamenei and Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian.

Iran responded rapidly, announcing a “first wave of extensive missile and drone attacks” across Israel. State media and officials indicated preparations for strikes on U.S. bases, describing the operation as “the most devastating offensive in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces,” according to Fars News Agency.
