Trump’s $45M Parade Crowd Leaves Internet In Disbelief—‘That’s It?’

On Saturday, June 14, former President Donald Trump celebrated his 79th birthday with a large-scale military parade in Washington, D.C., coinciding with the 250th anniversary of the United States Army. The event drew national attention for its scale, cost, and mixed public reception.

Joined by First Lady Melania Trump, family members, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and other officials, Trump participated in the celebration, which included historic military displays, skydivers, and over 6,000 uniformed participants in period-specific attire. The parade featured equipment and uniforms from the Revolutionary War through to the present, aiming to honor the Army’s long-standing service.

In his brief speech at the conclusion of the event, Trump praised the U.S. military and emphasized the importance of national pride. “Every other country celebrates their victories. It’s about time America did too,” he said. He added, “If you threaten the American people, our soldiers are coming for you.”
