Frustrated after an argument with his wife, Henry insists that his role as the family breadwinner is far more difficult than Alison’s job as a stay-at-home mom. Alison, feeling unappreciated, challenges him to swap roles for a week, and Henry, confident it’ll be a breeze, agrees.
Alison had spent a decade managing their home and caring for their four children, but Henry was convinced his 9-to-5 job was more demanding.
One evening, after a long day at work, Henry ignored Alison’s request for help, sparking an argument. “I’ve been working all day while you’ve been doing nothing!” he snapped, dismissing her role at home.
Tired of the constant dismissals, Alison proposed they switch places so Henry could see how “easy” her job really was. Confident in his ability to manage, Henry accepted the challenge.
The next day, Alison went to Henry’s office, while Henry stayed home to manage the household. But things quickly went wrong. He burned breakfast, struggled to get the kids to school, and even picked up the wrong child.
