Alec and Hilaria Baldwin faced backlash after welcoming their seventh child together

Expanding your family is always a joyous experience, especially when it’s with someone you love and share common goals with.

Alec Baldwin married Hilaria Baldwin in 2012, and the couple has been growing their family ever since. They met in 2011 and tied the knot the following year.

The Baldwins welcomed their first child in 2013 and went on to have four more children before adding a sixth child via surrogate. In April 2021, they announced they were expecting their seventh child together, much to the delight of their fans.

Hilaria shared the joyous news of their daughter’s arrival on Instagram, posting pictures and videos with the caption: “She’s here! We are so excited to introduce you to our tiny dream come true, Ilaria Catalina Irena.” This marked Alec Baldwin’s eighth child, as he shares an older daughter, Ireland Baldwin, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

In her Instagram post, Hilaria detailed that their daughter was born on September 22, 2022, weighing 6 lbs. and 13 ounces, adding, “Both she and I are happy and healthy.”

She also expressed the excitement of their other children, writing: “Her Baldwinito siblings are spending the day bonding and welcoming her into our home.” She concluded with, “Much love to you all. We are so happy to celebrate this wonderful news with you.”

The couple also released an official birth announcement via People Magazine, stating: “How grateful we feel to welcome our newest little daughter into this world. Just as magical and filled with love as every other little person we have been blessed with.”
