“We [teachers] want to make them feel like they’re at home and that they enjoy being here,” Oliver said. “We try to love on them as much as possible. To me, it was just a ponytail.”
Reflecting on the incident, Oliver joked about his limited hair-styling skills, noting that while he’s adept at helping his own daughter, anything beyond a ponytail might require assistance from a professional.
