Elon Musk Sparks Debate Over Proposed “DOGE Dividend” Tax Refund
Elon Musk has once again ignited an online firestorm after engaging with a proposal suggesting that the U.S. government issue a $5,000 tax refund—a concept dubbed the “DOGE Dividend.”
The idea, introduced by James Fishback, CEO of Azoria and an external advisor to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), suggests funding the tax refund through $55 billion in savings generated by fraud detection, contract cancellations, and regulatory changes spearheaded by DOGE.
