Dylan leaned into a different kind of storytelling—romance and emotional drama—appearing in films like After We Collided, Beautiful Disaster, and Beautiful Wedding. His choices built a separate fan base and a distinct on-screen identity.

Dylan has said he’d be open to reuniting on screen, but he’s not interested in the usual “twin gimmick.” Too many scripts rely on predictable jokes or cheesy setups, and neither brother seems eager to repeat that formula.
Even their conversations about twin roles reflect their personalities. They once joked about Tom Hardy playing twins in Legend—Cole reportedly wasn’t thrilled by the concept, while Dylan shrugged it off with the practical point that they probably weren’t in the running anyway.

Outside of acting, their lives have continued to evolve in separate directions. Dylan married model Barbara Palvin in July 2023 in Hungary. Cole has kept things more low-key, including his relationship with model Ari Fournier.
Still, their connection hasn’t weakened. Cole has spoken positively about Dylan’s marriage and has expressed genuine respect for his brother—proof that being raised as individuals didn’t reduce their bond. It strengthened it.
