After his speech, Stacey pulled Mark aside, overwhelmed with emotions. Mark explained he hadn’t contacted her sooner to avoid ruining her marriage and only recently learned about Tyler’s death and Mary’s wedding. He revealed that his colleague Sandra had lied about his passing out of envy.
