Two Crashes. One Seat. A Survivor’s Story That Defies Explanation.
British national Vishwash Kumar Ramesh never imagined his routine business trip to India would turn into a fight for his life—nor that the seat he chose might be part of a story too strange to dismiss as coincidence.
On June 12, 2025, Ramesh boarded Air India Flight 918 from Ahmedabad to London. He settled into seat 11A, a window seat on the left side of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner—a spot he always picked out of habit. Everything seemed normal.
Until takeoff.
Moments after the aircraft lifted from the runway, a sharp metallic bang rang out. Then, flickering cabin lights. Oxygen masks dropped. Screams erupted. In just 90 seconds, the plane lost altitude, clipped a communication tower, and crashed into a field outside the city.
Of the 267 passengers and crew onboard, only 26 survived.
Ramesh was one of them.
