This Quick Lesson in Logic Will Make You Think Differently

A fourth-grade teacher was giving her class a logic lesson.
“Imagine this,” she said. “A man is fishing in a boat in the middle of a river. He loses his balance, falls in, and starts yelling for help. His wife hears the commotion and runs down to the bank. Why do you think she ran?”

A little girl raised her hand and said, “To grab all his savings?”

Son: “Dad, why are some of your hairs white?”
Father: “Every lie you tell turns one hair white.”
Son: “Ah… now I understand why all grandfathers’ hairs are white!”

Teacher: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
Jimmy: “A pilot.”
Willy: “A doctor.”
Mary: “A good mother.”
Little Johnny: “I want to help Mary.”

At a Catholic school lunch, a nun posted a sign on the apple tray:
“Take only one. God is watching.”
At the cookie pile, one kid whispered to another:
“Take as many as you want. God is watching the apples.”
