There’s also a safety aspect to consider—especially in homes with kids or pets. A dangling charger might look like a toy to a curious child, or become a tug target for a pet. And if a charger is accidentally pulled or damaged, it could become a hazard over time.
To be clear: modern chargers are generally very safe, and the risk of serious incidents is low. But small changes in our habits can still make a difference—in energy use, in how long our devices last, and in keeping our spaces just a bit safer.

So now, I unplug my charger when I’m done. It’s a simple fix, but it brings peace of mind—not just for me, but for my household too.
How about you? Do you usually leave your charger plugged in when it’s not being used? Let us know what you think.
