During a routine boarding at an airport, Alaska Airlines employee Denise Snow learned that a fallen soldier’s remains, identified only as AJ, were being transported on her flight.
Without hesitation, she stood up and announced that she would be offering a tribute. Snow proceeded to sing a hauntingly beautiful rendition of the national anthem, causing everyone within earshot to stop and pay their respects.
Her performance, captured on video by a passenger named Neil, quickly went viral.Snow’s act of honoring military personnel is not uncommon for her.
She sings the national anthem whenever a fallen soldier is being transported on her flight, as well as in honor of veterans participating in the Honor Flight program.
